About Kiyomizu temple,  After through the first red gate(Niomon), left side inmost there is a structure(Zuigudo).

You can feel "mystical experience" in the Zuigudo. Inside Zuigudo walking through the dark basement represents a mother' s  womb, and holding on to a string prayer beads represents the umblical cord. After coming out from the darkness, it is said you will reborn.

Trough the main hall, on the left side there is a shrine "Jishu shrine". Inside there are two stones. From the stone to stone it' s about 10m and this is called "miracle love stone", because if you can walk stone to stone without the help with your eyes closed, it is said your love come true.

Kiyomizu temple is one of the most famous temple in Kyoto.There are many peoples, especially spring and autumn season it will be very crowded. So if you are going to go some famous place, I recommend to visit early morning.Among them Kiyomizu temple open from A.M.6:00, the sooner you go there are no people and maybe you can feel refresh.

Now main hall is under repair but if you go early morning you can feel charteer mood in the world heritage Kiyomizu temple.

In the same way banboo forest in Arashiyama, eary in the morning you can take like this picture. it' s no people.
