1 Bus

Upon exiting the "JR Lines Central Gate" (there is a Kyoto tower in front of you) of Kyoto station, you will find spacious plaza（bus stop).The alphabet number is put from A to D.You can take either B1 B2 bus station to go to Nijojo-mae.(number 9 of B1) or (number50 or 101 of B2) Bus fare is 230 yen. You have to pay when you get off. Only coins and 1000yen bill is used for change. you have to prepare exact amount of money. It takes 16～20minutes. Since there is display in front of bus in English, you will be able to prepare.On getting off the bus,from bus stop "B"(referring to the map) cross the Horikawa street. Along Nijo street, 5minutes walk the east. You will find liquor store "SAKE CUBE". turn it to left and in 1minutes you wiii find Kawasemi an on the right side of the road.

2 Subway

On exiting the "JR Lines Central Gate"of Kyoto station, there is an escalator to go down. and go down to second basement (B2).Along indication of subway, walk to straight to ticket office.Left side is for subway, right side is for JR(Japan Railway).To buy ticket you need 1000yen or eaxct amount of coins. At first, put the money into the machine and push "subway"  on the screen. Then push your destination (Marutamachi station). It costs 260yen.(There is a guide office near ticket place), and please take the Karasuma line and get off Marutamachi station. It takes about 10minutes untill Marutamachi station. From Marutamachi station, please find the intersection  Ebisugawa street and Karasuma street. and then turn right along the Ebisugawa street,and in 6th corner please turn left.Soon you will find left side "Kawasemi an"

3 Taxi

Upon exiting the "JR Lines Central Gate", you will find plaza.On the right side, there is a Taxi stop. at the front,  you see Kyoto tower. It takes about 15minutes from Kyoto station. It costs about 2000yen. you had better show adress to Taxi driver written in Japanese 「京都市中京区夷川通り西洞院下がる薬師町６４９－４」pronunciation is 「kyoto shi nakagyoku ebisugawa-dori nishinotoin sagaru yakushicho649-4」
